Starbucks debuts vegan salad
Starbucks has replaced its Hearty Veggie & Brown Rice Salad Bowl with the new Vegan Lentils & Vegetables Protein Bowl with Brown Rice.
The new dish has kale, broccoli, butternut squash, beets, cabbage, peas, roasted tomato, roasted red bell pepper and green onion, with more than one cup of produce in total, according to the company.
It also contains sunflower seeds and is served with lemon tahini dressing. The bowl has 23 grams of protein and is certified vegan.
The salad is available year-round at some locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City, and Washington D.C.
The price range for the Vegan Lentils & Vegetables Protein Bowl with Brown Rice is $7.45-$8.45.
