Mucci Farms announces the hiring of produce industry veteran Ken Paglione in the role of Sales Account Manager.

Joining Team Mucci with more than 15 years of experience in greenhouse produce, Ken brings a diverse set of skills having contributed to numerous departments such as marketing, commodity planning and logistics in addition to Sales.  His overall know-how will greatly assist the sales team as they continue to ramp up their efforts to increase supply and onboard new partners.

Over the last few years, Mucci Farms has undergone dramatic expansion across the board with annual construction of new greenhouses in Canada and the United States as well as constant research and development of new and unconventional items to grow in a controlled environment.

“We are in the midst of significant expansion of our acreage and product offerings, so it’s imperative that we identify and onboard high-level talent to help us continue to meet the needs of our current and prospective partners,” said Steve Zaccardi, Senior Director of Sales.

“Ken is known throughout the industry as a thought leader and his experience in different segments and his overall understanding of the produce business will be of great value to our sales team.”

Personally, and professionally, Ken believes that Mucci Farms is a great fit for him.  “It’s exciting to offer customers a value proposition that emphasizes product and packaging innovation, community relations, expansion into new markets, as well as the local lit culture winter program,” he explains.  “Not only am I looking forward to growing with Team Mucci and learning from my new teammates, I’m excited about continuing my industry and local volunteer work and mentoring the next generation.”

Ken joined the Mucci Farms team at their head office in Kingsville, Ontario on August 16th, 2021.
