Produce Common Sense podcast launched by Shay Myers

(Shay Myers)

Shay Myers, CEO of Parma, Idaho-based Owyhee Produce and The Packer’s 2020 Produce Man of the Year, has started a podcast.

Called “Produce Common Sense,” the twice-a-month podcast began in August with an episode featuring some of his family members at Owyhee Produce.

Subsequent podcasts have featured Derek Azevedo, vice president and COO of Bowles Farming, with a conversation about growing in the desert. Myers also explored consumer trends with  Karalynne Call, CEO of Just Ingredients.

Myers said he has enjoyed the conversational podcast format.

With a tagline of “We all learn from each other. Come along as I share what I have learned and while I learn,” Produce Common Sense can be found at the podcast website, the RSS feed , and wherever podcasts are available.
