The New England Consulting Group (NECG) is pleased to announce Werner von Pein as a Principal and Advisor to its CPG, family-owned and private equity practice teams. He brings nearly 40 years of global marketing, sales, operations and general management leadership building Fortune 100 companies both in the US and worldwide, including Food/Beverage, Nutritionals/Supplements, Confection/Snack, Leisure/Hospitality, Pet Food and Private Equity.

The success of any business and personal endeavor comes from a clear strategy followed by flawless execution,” comments von Pein.  “I have found that regardless of the nature of a business or where operations are geographically located, and regardless of culture and ownership, focus, process and follow up are key elements for profitable and sustained growth.”

Most recently, von Pein served as CEO of Better Choice Company (BTTR), an animal health and wellness company, where he oversaw the succesful integration of Halo, Purely for Pets and TruPet.  Prior to that, he was president of Three Dog Bakery, and executive vice president for Beefeaters, an all-meat dog treat manufacturer.

He began his career at Procter & Gamble and gained international marketing and supply chain experience through executive leadership roles with Quaker Oats, General Foods, Melitta, Kraft Heinz, Life Savers and Planters as well as Hebrew National, Rexall, Lavazza and Nabisco. He also orchestrated the restructuring and building of small to medium sized private equity from high tech to hospitality and family owned operations. His accomplishments have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the London Financial Times and Fox Business.

“Werner is a versatile and respected international marketing leader with extensive sales, operations, private equity and family practice experience,” said Gary Stibel, Founder & CEO of NECG. “He will prove invaluable to our teams and to any of our clients.”
