After three long years, the Eastern Produce Council's John J. McAleavey Annual Casino Night is back.

The council's biggest event of the year will be April 9, at Westmount Country Club, Woodland Park, N.J., according to a news release. This occasion will mark the EPC’s 55th annual gala.

In 2019, the format of the night changed. The ballroom, traditionally set for a sit-down dinner, was transformed into a casino. This year, there will be an extended cocktail hour and dinner buffet from 7-9 p.m., and the casino will open at 8 p.m. Partygoers can also expect a DJ, photo booth and dessert extravaganza.

To purchase tickets, to learn about sponsorships or to reserve an advertisement in the EPC’s annual ad journal, contact the EPC office at easternproducecouncil@gmail.com or (908) 723-0645.

This annual event is the main fundraising effort of the EPC, enabling the council to continue to support worthy causes and organizations in the produce industry and community.

John McAleavey was executive director of EPC for 25 years, and after his death in 2015, the event was named in his memory.
