Kwik Lok names chief revenue officer

Blair Chastain has been named chief revenue officer for Kwik Lok Corporation, Yakima, Wash. In this role, Chastain will focus on enhancing Kwik Lok’s global sales and marketing strategies.

“Blair’s experience developing strong sales strategies and empowering agile teams will be a strong asset as Kwik Lok continues to grow our business worldwide and make a difference in our communities,” Don Carrell, Kwik Lok CEO, said in a news release. 

A Southern California resident with over 20 years of proven sales leadership experience across a variety of industries including agriculture, food, retail fulfillment and manufacturing, Chastain comes to Kwik Lok from IPL Macro in Fairfield, Calif., where he was vice president of sales and marketing for North America.

At IPL Macro, Chastain was responsible for leading IPL Macro’s North American sales, customer service and marketing efforts for all new and commercialized solutions. 

Prior to IPL Macro, Chastain was the vice president of sales for Rehrig Pacific Company in Los Angeles. At Rehrig Pacific Company, Chastain worked to empower an agile and transformative team culture, which led to solutions and market expansions with consistent revenue growth, the release said.

“As a global company, Kwik Lok has an opportunity to bring innovative solutions to a wide variety of businesses,” Chastain said in the release. “I look forward to working with my team to develop and implement plans that achieve sustainable growth in the bakery and produce industries and beyond.”

Chastain is a graduate of San Diego State University. He and his family reside in Rossmoor, Calif.

Founded in 1954, Kwik Lok produces billions of bag closures every year for baking and produce industries and the machinery for customers to print and apply closures. The company is owned by third-generation family leadership, with a “vision to drive greater sustainability in the industry.”
