Orlando, Fla.-based cloud platform provider Share-ify has added Shannon Shuman as its senior vice president.

Shuman will be leading business development initiatives to maximize the growth potential for the Share-ify platform, according to a news release. The company offers solutions for corporate compliance, food safety and quality assurance.

Shuman’s role will include development and oversight of the organic sales organization as well as an exceptional customer experience and expanding brand visibility, according to the release. He most recently led the growth of a media brand serving the agricultural hemp industry, Hemp Industry Daily. Before that, he spent 12 years as the executive director and vice president of The Packer.

Adding Shuman’s position signals a strategic shift from Share-ify’s extensive product development phase to more aggressive emphasis on market adoption, the release said.

In addition to furthering its products to the fresh produce industry, Share-ify will also be offering its solution to other markets that require stringent standards, compliance and vendor/supplier management solutions.

“We are so pleased to have Shannon on the executive team,” Share-ify CEO Ernesto Nardone said in the release. “He adds tremendous depth to assist the company in outreach to our existing customers and better explaining who we are and how we can help both new and future customers.”
