Canadawide of Montreal has opened its second Montreal warehouse at 4747 Cote Vertu West Blvd. The facility is a 10-minute drive from its original warehouse.

The new warehouse opens up a "world of possibilities" in terms of storage and production, as it doubles Canadawide’s capacity to 14,000 pallets as well as its number of ripening rooms, according to a news release. Canadawide says its cross-docking and forward distribution capabilities are unlimited. It can store produce at temperatures ranging from 2 degrees below zero to over 15 degrees Celsius.

Founded in 1983, Canadawide is a family-run business that builds long-term partnerships based on its core values of transparency and reliability, the release said. Canadawide says it acts as business advisers to its clients, adapting to its clients’ needs in terms of packaging styles and designs.

The combined facilities allow for more than 320,000 square feet of refrigerated space across 36 rooms. The production area for packaging private labels, copacking and its Frescadel brand has quadrupled.
