Hispanic shoppers (37% reporting purchases) and Asian consumers (32%) were the most frequent purchasers of mangoes, compared with white/Caucasian consumers at 23% and Black/African American consumers at 25%.

Mango consumers also skewed younger, according to Fresh Trends 2023, with just 15% of consumers aged 60 and older reporting mango purchases, compared with 32% for those from 30-39 years old.
