Bay Baby to focus on omnichannel marketing, names director of marketing
Bay Baby Produce has promoted Lindsey Lance to director of marketing.
Credited with changing the focus of the Mt. Vernon, Wash.-based company’s strategic vision to “multilevel marketing,” Lance joined Bay Baby in 2022 as a member of the sales team. Since joining the team, she has incorporated national goals along with a strong presence in the local community, according to a news release.
“I am honored to be a part of this strong team at Bay Baby Produce,” Lance said in the release. “Working here has been nothing short of inspirational. I am very fortunate to be a part of a team that is so focused on putting out a high-quality product and using our platform to pay it forward to our community.”
Bay Baby Produce says it will be centered on three goals in the coming year:
- Enhancing its local presence through local community, engagement and support.
- Expanding its national presence through strategic branding and valuable partnerships.
- Strengthening its social media presence to foster direct connections with its valued customers.
“I am looking forward to developing our future leaders and roles within Bay Baby as we continue to grow,” Bay Baby Produce President and CEO Michele Youngquist said in the release. “Our goal is to deliver high-quality products and to strategize with our customers to meet their sales goals.”
While Lance’s experience prior to Bay Baby Produce was primarily in food distribution sales, where she worked closely with restaurant owner-operators, she has always been drawn to the produce industry, the release said.
“I finally feel as if I have the perfect fusion of a job which harmonizes the technical and creative aspects that resonate with me,” Lance said.
With Lance focused on marketing, the company says it will allow Bay Baby Produce to expand on what it has accomplished in the past.
Sharing the creativity and the good-natured spirit of Bay Baby Produce is Lance’s goal stepping into this new position, the release said.
“It is important to me that Bay Baby Produce is recognized for the innovation and the accomplishments achieved over the past 30 years," she said. "My enthusiasm lies in sharing this journey with our customers at both the retail level and the consumer level.”
Youngquist and Lance say they are passionate about building upon local partnerships that have already been established, including those with Seattle’s Children Hospital, Children of the Valley and The Boys and Girls Club of Skagit County.
Bay Baby Produce also says it hopes to partner with local schools to educate kids on the importance of eating fruits and vegetables, with its Pumpkin Patch Pals as ambassadors.
For 2024, Bay Baby Produce says it is looking to expand its current offerings with new products.
