DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Want to see what a winner looks like?

Well, we're talking about the winner besides the person and her team behind it: The produce department at this store of The Giant Food Co. is run by Produce Manager Breanna Norris. She won one of the nation's 2023 Retail Produce Manager Awards from the International Fresh Produce Association. The program is sponsored by Dole Food Co.

"I've worked here a year now, and right off the bat I noticed she was a different kind of leader," said Michael Robert, produce associate. "She cares about her team. She works harder than anybody, and it's very easy to follow her. I don't dread going to work, and that's because of her."

Here's the visual result of that kind of leadership, shown through produce merchandising displays in and out of the produce department. Keep in mind that the store was busy with shoppers, and most of the produce team was gathered for a ceremony honoring Norris.

"I have the best crew. I wouldn't trade any of them," Norris said.
