Sinclair labeler wins award
The Sinclair compact pattern labeler received a silver medal as part of the 2017 Macfrut Innovation Awards in the category of packing and packing materials.
The compact pattern labeler (CPL) features new controls including automated lift arms, a touchpad interface and remote access. The CPL’s flexible pattern programming also makes labeling fruit in tray patterns significantly more exact, according to a news release.
“We’re humbled and proud that Sinclair continues to make considerable product improvements while launching new innovations like the CPL,” Tim Watkins, director of sales for Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific, said in the release.
The Macfrut Innovation Awards were presented in eight different categories including Machines and Technology for Sorting and Packaging, according to the release. Sinclair manufactures food-safe labels and equipment systems in over 50 countries worldwide.
