Cal-Organic Farm’s on The Balancing Act

Cal-Organic Farms, a brand under Grimmway Farms, Bakersfield, Calif., was featured on the Lifetime Network’s “The Balancing Act.”

Kellen Stailey Martin, senior director of marketing and merchandising for Grimmway Farms, appeared on the show to discuss organic vegetables and their relevance to families and pregnant women.

The show, which aired April 26, featured Martin and a display of organic vegetables. Martin explained the differences between organic and conventional produce.

“Cal-Organic Farms, a Grimmway Farms brand, showcases the benefits of eating organic fruits and vegetables and their particular importance to moms, expectant moms, and their families, during this segment to educate consumers about what makes Cal-Organics different from other growers, how organic is different from conventional farming, and how shopping organic is a healthy habit,” Martin said in an e-mail.

“The Balancing Act” regularly features organic companies, including Josie’s Organics, Soledad, Calif., in 2014.

The morning show offers “busy on-the-go modern women positive solutions and cutting-edge ideas to help balance and enrich their lives every day,” according to “The Balancing Act” website.

The first of the two appearances by Martin on the show can be viewed on “The Balancing Act” website. The second appearance airs May 3.
