With fall fast approaching, all eyes are on Washington to see what fruit the nation’s top apple-producing state will bear this season.

The Oxnard, Calif.-based company has announced the elevation of its direct-to-retail service in the European market with the consolidation of operations in a ripening and forward distribution center in The Netherlands.

The winning hackathon team created a mycelium-based packaging project and will receive a monetary prize award, along with participation in an incubator program hosted by Lineage Logistics and The Waste Transformers.

The company says it has seen expansion over the last few years due to providing complete third-party logistics services.

Agronomist Kyle Cosgrove is joining the fresh produce sustainability consulting firm to advance on-farm services, support and lead participation in A Vibrant Future, a Climate-Smart Commodities grant-funded program.
