International Fresh Produce Association has named Crunch Pak its “Advocate of the Year” in recognition for its advocacy for the entire produce industry.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Featuring the theme “Race to Discover,” the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Innovations drew the fresh produce industry to the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 14-16.

The federal agency is expanding its existing food loss and food waste prevention and reduction initiatives through the American Rescue Plan Act.
“It was another extremely challenging growing season in New Zealand, with a significant reduction in yields as a result of poor growing conditions,” said Zespri Chief Operating Officer Jason Te Brake.
