Sun World International has a new message to retailers on how to increase sales ( File Photo )

Sun World International, Bakersfield, Calif., will be offering a record amount of proprietary grape varieties this fall through its “late-season trio” of Scarlotta Seedless, Autumncrisp and Adora Seedless brands.

The company reports that its volumes have grown a record amount, and this year, retailers can plan aggressive promos on the grapes from mid-September through mid-November, according to a news release.

“We have seen tremendous growth in the last three years,” Jason Fuller, Sun World vice president of domestic sales, said in a news release. “This year we are marketing the largest crop in our history. Because of this, we will have a record amount of promotable product to help our retailers grow.”

The attributes of the fall grape trio, according to the release, are:

  • Scarlotta Seedless: They have a striking red color and an “elegantly aromatic flavor,” according to the release;
  • Adora Seedless: A crisp and sweet flavor profile, with a one-inch diameter it’s been dubbed a “two-bite” grape; and
  • Autumncrisp: Sweet, with a hint of muscat and an exception crunch.
