The Aug. 20-21 event is available at a discounted price for those who register by Aug. 1, according to a news release.
Topics and speakers the invent include:

- “Consumption in the post-outbreak normal,” Darren Seifer, food and beverage analysts with the The NPD Group, Inc.;
- “New era for smarter food safety,” Mark Moorman, director of the Office of Food Safety for the Food and Drug Administration;
- “Current Mergers and Acquisitions Trends in Tree Fruit,” Matthew Corbett, parter with Fiera Comox, and Toby McKay, with the International Farming Corp., Baptiste Tellier, director of Fall Line Capital and Nate Fulton, ag director for PayneWest Insurance;
- “Farm Credit System Outlook,” Todd Van Hoose, president and CEO of Farm Credit Council; and

The agenda includes crop outlook presentations by representatives from apple regions in the U.S., along with international representatives from China, Europe, Canada, Mexico and South America.
