The U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved imports of raspberries from Morocco.

Based on the findings of a pest risk analysis, the agency said fresh imports won’t present a pest risk to U.S. producers if several phytosantiary safeguards are met.

Imports of Moroccan fresh raspberries are approved to begin starting July 24, the USDA said.
