Dinuba, Calif.-based King Fresh Produce LLC is building on its packing efficiencies, said Francisco Ilic, export manager.

“We are paying close attention to minimizing distances between orchards and packing houses — that is, product grown in the southern end of the valley is packed at our Jody Fresh facility in Dinuba, and product grown in the Stockton area is packed at our associate grower facility,” he said.

“The Stockton facility will be running all cherries in a new state-of-the-art Red Pearl 360 sorter line that drastically improves efficiency and quality.”
