Wenatchee, Wash.-based Stemilt Growers will feature its A Half Mile Closer to the Moon high-altitude cherries beginning in late July and continuing on through August.
The Moon Cherries are a great way for retailers to finish the season, Stemilt’s senior marketing manager Brianna Shales said in a news release.
Fourth-generation Stemilt cherry grower Kyle Mathison grows Moon Cherries at Amigos Orchards in Wenatchee, Shales said in the release.
With the orchard’s high elevations and cool summer days, chilly nights and excellent soil conditions. Shales said Mathison’s experience in growing late-season cherries helps deliver a memorable product.
“This brand and the efforts that go into promoting it can really elevate your category,” Shales said in the release. “As a high ring item, Moon Cherries have phenomenal quality that can really drive impulse sales. They leave consumers with a memorable eating experience every time.”
The cherries are available in random weight pouch bags, one-and two-pound clamshells, and one- and two-pound top-seal containers.
