The Mexican Association of Protected Horticulture — AMHPAC — has a new date for its annual convention.

The organization cancelled its 2020 annual show because of the COVID-19 pandemic and rescheduled for Sept. 2-3 in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur. AMHPAC will release more details soon, according to a news release.

The organization convened its Ordinary General Assembly on Oct. 15 when the announcement was made. The virtual meeting included representatives from more than 100 companies.

The 2021 event will be AMHPAC’s 13th conference, according to the release. The conference draws representatives from throughout the Mexican vegetable supply chain, and offers sessions featuring experts on topics concerning the protected agriculture industry, according to the release.

The 2020 conference was originally scheduled in April, and the organization decided to postpone it.
