Progressive Produce LLC., Los Angeles, is recalling a limited amount of red and yellow onions it distributed to retailers in the Western U.S.
Progressive Produce received the onions from Thomson International Inc., Bakersfield, Calif., which has recalled all onions it has shipped since May 1 due to a Salmonella Newport outbreak in the U.S. and Canada.
