2021 West Coast Produce Expo to be Held in Las Vegas This Year

Lenexa, Kan., (Feb. 24, 2021) – The produce industry’s premier domestic networking event, West Coast Produce Expo (WCPE), is set for May 18-19, 2021, in  Las Vegas. The event was moved from its traditional location in California for this year to provide a COVID-conscious environment. The event will continue to deliver the same high-quality connection opportunities for attendees and exhibitors, backed by The Packer’s industry expertise and data. https://events.farmjournal.com/west-coast-produce-expo-2021/

Now in its eighth year, WCPE attracts national buyers with a breadth of decision-maker titles and still maintains an intimate, regional feel. The Red Rock Resort & Casino will host the socially-spaced event with exhibits, networking receptions and WCPE’s most popular feature – the annual golf tournament – at a nearby golf course.

“We are extremely excited to host an in-person West Coast Produce Expo after going virtual in 2020,” said Matt Morgan, executive vice president of produce for Farm Journal. “We remain COVID-conscious and are taking every precaution to deliver the safest experience possible. While elbow bumps may replace handshakes, we intend for our one year in Las Vegas to be one of the most energetic, fun-filled West Coast events yet.”

To ensure safety, exhibits will be limited and spaced according to health guidelines, and receptions will be held outdoors when possible. Retail and foodservice buyers will have the opportunity to connect with fresh produce suppliers and service providers via The Packer’s BizMatch meeting scheduler service, which will be offered both days of the event.

A limited number of high-profile sponsorships are now available. To learn more about the schedule and register for the event, go to www.westcoastproduceexpo.com.
