The next Empire State Producers Expo will be in-person Jan. 11-13, 2022, said Brian Reeves, president of New York State Vegetable Growers Association.

“The plan is now to have an in-person conference, as long as we don’t get a flare-up,” Reeves said. “New York is in pretty good shape, and we’re pretty well vaccinated.”

In January 2020, the show was at Onondaga Community College, and for 2022, it will return to Oncenter, a three-building convention and entertainment complex in downtown Syracuse.

“It’s got better meeting rooms off to the sides, and now it’s got a Marriott attached too,” he said.
