GloriAnn, Five Crowns support troops again

Sweet corn grower-shipper GloriAnn Farms is continuing its annual Support our Troops campaign with partner Five Crowns Marketing.

The program, now in its sixth year, donates to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund every time a case of corn is sold to participating retailers in August. The non-profit fund aids military personnel and their families, according to a news release from GloriAnn, Tracy, Calif.

In the past five years, GloriaAnn Farms has donated almost $90,000 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and the company’s goal is to top $100,000 this year.

GloriAnn and Majesty brand tray-packs will have a promotional sticker featuring the campaign. Point-of-sales materials will be available, according to the release at gloriannfarms.com/intrepid-fallen-heroes-fund/.

“The response from our retail customers has been so positive every year, and the display materials really help to increase awareness of the campaign for consumers at the retail level,” Five Crowns director of sales and marketing Daren Van Dyke said in the news release.

“We truly feel we’re simply doing our part to try to repay even some of the debt we as Americans owe these heroes for the sacrifices they have made in service to our nation,” Gloriann principal and president Mark Bacchetti said in the release.
