Going bananas with Chiquita at IFPA Show

Chiquita is making its official return to the trade show floor through its participation in the International Fresh Produce Association’s Oct. 27-29 Global Product & Floral Show in Orlando, Fla., the company reports.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Chiquita is making its official return to the trade show floor through its participation in the International Fresh Produce Association’s Oct. 27-29 Global Product & Floral Show in Orlando, Fla., the company reports.

“Chiquita is excited to be participating in IFPA’s event and to connect, in-person, with a diverse group of produce industry leaders and consumers from around the world,” Jamie Postell, vice president of sales of North America for Chiquita, said in a news release. “We are looking forward to the opportunity to once again showcase our innovative practices, from our farms to our ripening facilities and all the way to our clients’ shelves.”

Chiquita welcomes all attendees to the show to visit its booth for an inside look at how it has set forth industry leading sustainability practices, including its 30 by 30 carbon reduction initiative verified by the Science Based Target initiative, according to the release.

Upon entering the booth, guests are welcome to enjoy a refreshing Chiquita pink smoothie recipe. Along with showcasing recipes, Miss Chiquita will be present to take photos and share knowledge with attendees about topics ranging from the benefits of a holistically nutritious lifestyle to enhancing breast cancer awareness through Chiquita’s current pink sticker campaign.
