Members of the North American potato industry have a chance to come together to learn about the newest technology, methods and research during the Washington, D.C.-based National Potato Council’s Potato Expo Jan. 4-5, says CEO Kam Quarles.

“It’s also an opportunity for those folks who are setting their deals for 2023 to do that in person,” he said.

The event will feature a cook-off involving celebrity chefs from The Food Network. The cooking competition, entitled, “This Spuds for You – Celebrity Chef Edition,” will be hosted by Ted Allen, Emmy Award-winning host of Chopped.

Potato Expo will also include a number of presentations on the main stage and educational breakout sessions. The expo will be held at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colo.
