Terra Exports Appears On The Inc. 5000 List, Joining The Mere 5 Percent of Companies That Make The List 4 Times

LAS VEGAS (August 30, 2021) – Inc. magazine revealed that Terra Exports, an innovative global fresh
fruit company, is No. 1086 on this year’s 40th annual Inc. 5000 list—the most prestigious ranking of U.S.
fastest-growing private companies. This is Terra Exports’ fourth appearance on the Inc. 5000 list. Terra
Exports was the only fresh fruit & vegetable import/export company to make the list in 2017 and they are
the only fresh fruit import/export company to make the list in 2021.

Terra Exports jumped over 800 rankings this year by doubling its sales growth at 448% growth over the
past 3 years. Terra Exports’ CEO, Nils Goldschmidt shared, “We’ve always been company culture centric,
which includes never losing our “anti-corporate” essence, and continuously finding new ways to keep our
team engaged and having fun. We also continue to reinvent ourselves constantly, which keeps us relevant
in what most consider to be an “old school” industry.”

Terra Exports also ranked No. 11 among the fastest-growing businesses in Nevada on the list, jumping
four rankings from last year. This is Terra Exports’ fourth appearance on the Inc. 5000 list, previously
ranking No. 1,899 in 2020’s list, No. 1587 in 2019’s list, and No. 923 in 2017’s list. Only 5 percent of
Inc. 5000 companies have made the list 4 times.

When asked what has contributed to Terra Exports significant growth, Goldschmidt shared that by
consolidating their export divisions in 2020, the company has become even less dependent on U.S.
business and more diversified by expanding their sales globally.

New divisions continue to be additional growth drivers for Terra Exports, which Goldschmidt credits to
his team. Goldschmidt explains, “As we work hard to get a new division off the ground, we are forced to
think outside the box and create business opportunities where there were none before.”

When it comes to attracting top tier talent, Terra Exports made several key hires in 2020. Goldschmidt
shared that it’s becoming easier as Terra Exports becomes a “household name in the fresh produce
industry.”
