Western Growers hires Eric Trost for insurance services group

Western Growers, Irvine, Calif., has hired Eric Trost as vice president of employee benefits for the Insurance Services group.

Western Growers, Irvine, Calif., has hired Eric Trost as vice president of employee benefits for the Insurance Services group.

He will lead the expansion of Western Growers Insurance Services’ Employee Benefits capabilities, solutions and resources, according to a news release.

He has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, with a background in employee benefits, health care and risk management, according to the release. Most recently, he was a principal of Benefits Compass, an employee benefits agency.

“Eric is consumer driven, employer focused and proactive in nature, which are qualities that will play a significant role in helping us ramp up our efforts to continue to offer quality insurance and health care options to the ag and food industry, ”Jeff Gullickson, senior vice president of Western Growers Insurance Services, said in the release.
