Wholesale Produce Supply adds G.O. Fresh

Wholesale Produce Supply, a portfolio company of Cross Rapids Capital LP, says the addition of G.O. Fresh expands its fresh-cut capabilities and product offerings.

Wholesale Produce Supply, a fresh produce logistics and inventory management solutions provider has added G.O. Corp., a processor of fresh-cut produce in Minneapolis.

Wholesale Produce Supply, a portfolio company of Cross Rapids Capital LP, said in a news release that the addition of G.O. Corp., also known as G.O. Fresh, expands its fresh-cut capabilities and product offerings. G.O. Fresh joins Wholesale Produce Supply in Minneapolis and Bandwagon in Vernon, Calif.

G.O. Fresh, established in 2004, serves food service distributors in the upper Midwest. Owner Marylou Owen will continue with WPS Fresh through a transition of ownership, according to the release.

“WPS Fresh is thrilled to continue to expand its value-added offering to its customers,” WPS Fresh CEO Jason Dugan said in the release. “G.O. Fresh’s focus on consistent high-quality service and its outstanding reputation in the fresh cut market have made it a perfect fit for our company.”
