2021 Global Organic Produce Expo is only a few weeks away and Dan Davis, director of business development at Starr Ranch Growers, has a few tips and tricks to successfully navigate an expo.

The GOPEX Golf event will be held on the famed TPC Sawgrass Stadium golf course. 40 exhibitors will line the course, while golfers make their way through the iconic holes and visit with exhibitors along the way. Networking receptions, BizMatch and other face-to-face time will fill out this two-day event.

What they’re most excited about for the event?
It’s a great concept and should be fun to be out on the course engaging with everyone. The premise has inspired a ton of dialogue and creativity amongst our marketing team as to how to make it a fun event. Should be a great time.

What is your go-to trade show shoes? Any other trade show tips and tricks?
It’s always about comfort with the shoes. The key is comfortable socks as well, bombas are my favorite currently. Hydration is key as well, too much time on the feet standing in a confined space can be surprisingly brutal on the legs.

What is your best memory of Florida?
I have a lot of great memories in Florida, my family has done a ton of Disney-centric vacations. Time spent at DisneyWorld when my daughters were young is among some of my favorite memories anywhere.

What is your favorite golf story?
Playing Bandon Dunes with friends. Really not a moment specifically, just several days well spent with good friends.
