2021 Global Organic Produce Expo is only a few weeks away and Paul Newstead, director of business development for Domex Superfresh Growers, has a few tips and tricks to successfully navigate an expo.

The GOPEX Golf event will be held on the famed TPC Sawgrass Stadium golf course. 40 exhibitors will line the course, while golfers make their way through the iconic holes and visit with exhibitors along the way. Networking receptions, BizMatch and other face-to-face time will fill out this two-day event.

The Packer: What are you most excited about for the event?

Newstead: We’re looking forward to seeing more faces after a long year of social distancing. GOPEX has been a great show for us.

The Packer: What are your go-to trade show shoes? Any other trade show tips and tricks?

Newstead: Anything comfortable. Lots of water and hand sanitizer.

The Packer: What is your best memory of Florida?

Newstead: Having cigars with customers on a warm, pleasant evening at the GOPEX show 3 years ago.

The Packer: What is your favorite golf story?

Newstead: I had the chance to play the Biltmore course a few years ago with a customer and a some friends in the industry. Some of the guys were really good golfers, so it was a pleasure to see some shot making on a special course.
