Dynamic Systems Inc., Redmond, Wash., has upgraded its Simba Logistics module, which uses barcodes to manage inventory and shipping for the company’s traceability systems.

The new version works in real-time, increasing the speed of inventory management and shipping by immediate communication with a database, according to a news release.

The Simba Logistics mobile application can print labels “on the fly” when palletizing cartons or if a label has been damaged, according to the release, allowing errors to be caught immediately.

Simba Logistics is included with the Simba Produce and Traceability System, and upgrades are free to users with a current support contract, according to the release.
