The New York Apple Association, Fishers, has promoted Cailin Kowalewski to account promotion manager.

She joined the apple association two years ago as assistant account manager. She previously was retail account manager, according to a news release.

The association is rolling out new resources, programs, and campaigns, many for both in-store and digital applications. The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the need for creative promotion ideas and new ways to reach customers, according to the release.

“She is creative, resourceful and we are thankful she is part of our team,” Cynthia Haskins, president for the New York Apple Association, said about Kowalewski in the releaes. “Planning for retail and foodservice promotions is already underway and we look forward to this year’s apple crop season.”

She will develop custom retail display resources, administer display contests and coordinate digital campaigns, according to the release. The association has produced more than 20 videos and other resources for retailers that highlight point-of-sale materials and NYAA’s Dietitian Toolkit.

Before joining the apple association, Kowalewski was a nutrition and consumer science coordinator for Cornell Cooperative Extension.
