Inteligistics hires vice president

Josh Mitchell has been hired as vice president of business development and sales at Inteligistics.

“Josh will help Inteligistics to become a major force within the produce industry in the areas of produce quality, freshness and safety while advancing the traceability, waste reduction and profitability,” Rao Mandava, chairman and president of Inteligistics, Pittsburgh, Pa., said in a news release.

The release said Mitchell brings more than 20 years of produce industry experience from Misionero Vegetables, Monterey, Calif., where he had positions in operations, business development, technology and food safety, according to the release.

Inteligistics markets solutions that track produce temperatures across the supply chain to estimate remaining shelf life based on temperature/humidity conditions, according to the company.
