Kelby Sullivan tapped as Braga Fresh’s next director of sales

The produce veteran is bringing fresh produce and sales experience from Costco, Amazon and Bonduelle Fresh Americas to her new role leading sales at the California-based leafy greens grower.

Braga Fresh, a leafy greens and vegetable grower and parent company to Josie’s Organics based in Soledad, Calif., has named Kelby Sullivan as its new director of sales.

Sullivan joins Braga Fresh with 18 years’ experience in the club channel and fresh produce business, according to a news release. She was most recently the director of national sales at Bonduelle Fresh Americas and previously spent time at Amazon and 13 years at Costco in inventory management and buying.

“Kelby has strong leadership skills, a great merchandising background and a proven track record of customer service,” Braga Fresh Chief Operating Office Colby Pereira said in the release.

Sullivan’s sales and management capabilities will be instrumental to Braga Fresh’s future growth and success, Pereira added.

As director of sales, Sullivan’s focus areas include growing key retail partnerships, maintaining and developing programs, collaborating on innovation and category management and providing next level service to corporate and regional teams, according to the release.
