Masser Potato hires foodservice sales director

Masser Potato Farms, Sacramento, Pa., hired Charles “Chip” Callahan as director of foodservice sales.

Masser Potato Farms, Sacramento, Pa., has hired Charles “Chip” Callahan as director of foodservice sales.

Callahan brings more than 30 years of foodservice experience to Masser Potato Farms, according to a news release, including Mann Packing and US Foodservice.

“Chip’s deep industry knowledge and connections will help us fulfill our ongoing mission and vision to serve our customers by delivering innovative solutions and extraordinary service,” said Masser Farms president and CEO Dave Masser, in the release.

“My entire career has been devoted to the foodservice industry,” Callahan said. “I learned early in my career as a restaurant owner/operator that in order to grow the business, you must do things differently, be creative and pleasantly surprise your customer.”

Callahan will report to Brock Snyder, Masser Potato Farms vice president of sales and procurement.

Masser Potato Farms is a member of the Fresh Solutions Network.
