Nominations sought for Ontario produce awards

The Ontario Produce Marketing Association is asking for produce industry nominations by Sept. 27 to present four winners with awards at the association’s 28th annual Gala and Awards Ceremony.

The Ontario Produce Marketing Association is asking for produce industry nominations by Sept. 27 to present four winners with awards at the association’s 28th annual Gala and Awards Ceremony.

The event is Nov. 15 at the Universal Event Space in Vaughan, Ontario, according to a news release.

Every November, the Ontario produce industry honors individuals and organizations for outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the industry.

A nomination form with award criteria is available here.

The association recognizes individuals and companies with these annual awards:

  • The Cory Clack-Streef Produce Person of the Year Award;
  • The OPMA Fresh Award;
  • The OPMA Lifetime Achievement Award; and
  • The OPMA Outstanding Achievement Award.
