Ontario Produce Marketing Association has new president

Michelle Broom is the new president of the Ontario Produce Marketing Association.

Broom will be responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of the association, to support the facilitation of trade and enhance the marketing and promotion of fresh fruits and vegetables in Ontario, according to a news release.

She comes to the group with more than two decades of experience in leadership, food industry nutrition, and education, according to the release. Her most recent position is president of the Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council.
