Package Containers Inc. has hired David Moen as regional sales manager and retail director.

Moen, whose career spans 40 years, began in 1976 at Albertsons produce department. He worked at Safeway, Brown & Cole Stores, vegetable grower-shipper Apio Inc. and most recently at Save Mart Supermarkets as senior director of customer solutions, according to a news release.

His positions have included sales manager, director of produce, account executive and vice president of marketing.

At Package Containers, Moen will cover the Northwest region and Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.

“David’s insight on how produce can be merchandised, promoted and add value to the rest of the grocery store is key to PCI’s mission to make produce move,” Package Containers CEO Dave DeMots said in the release.
