The Packer has added two to its sales staff.

Tara Schwartz joins The Packer as Western Advertising Account Executive, based in Denver. She has experience in publishing, including print and digital advertising sales for The Denver Post. In addition, Schwartz served as the associate publisher for a monthly magazine in Colorado — Sensi Media Group.

“Tara’s experience selling digital solutions for one of the nation’s premier modern newspapers — The Denver Post — will be an exceptionally valuable resource for our advertisers,” said The Packer publisher Shannon Shuman.

Denise Sundvold returns to the produce industry and The Packer in the role of directory sales, where she will oversee The Packer’s Jobs Board and advertising in directories, special sections and special projects.

Sundvold worked with The Packer sales staff from 2008 to 2014, and has an extensive background in publishing.

“I’m excited to bring an industry veteran back to The Packer family,” Shuman said. “Denise’s understanding of the market and products makes her uniquely qualified to serve our customers and help us develop new products.”
