Pete’s announces promotion

Carpinteria, Calif.-based Pete’s (also known as Hollandia Produce) has promoted Baltazar Garcia to as the company’s director of sales.

Carpinteria, Calif.-based Pete’s (also known as Hollandia Produce) has promoted Baltazar Garcia to as the company’s director of sales.

In his new role, Garcia will oversee the sales department and will have responsibility for growing all channels of trade in an effort to increase distribution and national brand presence, according to a news release.

Garcia will also serve as a member of the executive team and will continue to report to Pete’s President Brian Cook, according to the release.

“Baltazar has already done a great job of driving sales for Pete’s and is more committed than ever to finding new ways to drive the business forward,” Cook said in the release.“Baltazar earned this opportunity based on his hard work, dedication and leadership, the key traits we value and reward in our Pete’s team members.”

Garcia has worked for Pete’s since 2014 and has more than 22 years of sales experience, according to the release.

In his prior role as senior sales manager, Garcia was responsible for overseeing sales for the west territory and worked closely with retailers and wholesalers to help deliver growth. Garcia also served a key role in driving sales for Pete’s Organic offerings, according to the release.
