Susie Rea joins Index Fresh in sales role

Avocado company Index Fresh, Riverside, Calif., has hired Susie Rea in sales and business development.

Avocado company Index Fresh, Riverside, Calif., has hired Susie Rea in sales and business development.

Rea has 23 years of experience in produce sales. Most recently, she was at West Pak Avocado, and before that was at Ayco Farms West in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. Rea was also in sales at United Greenhouse.

In her new role, she brings experience in building programs from the ground up, launching new products and working with diverse groups of produce consumers and growers, according to a news release.

“Her extensive experience in business development within the industry, and in-depth knowledge of the grower and retail side of the business are significant assets for Index Fresh,” Todd Elder, vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release.
