Fresh-cut fruit provider Fresh Innovations, Stockton, Calif., has a new CEO, Tim Stejskal.

Stejskal has been at Dole Fresh Vegetables for 22 years, most recently as General Manager and senior vice president of sales and innovation.

He succeeds Toby Cohen, Fresh Innovation president, who founded the company in 2001. Cohen continues as the company’s chief strategy officer, according to a news release.

Stejskal’s experience includes various leadership roles and a product development background.

“His experience and skillset are a great match as we continue to build Fresh Innovations as a leader in the industry,” Greg Richards, chairman and managing director of Arable Capital Partners, which acquired Fresh Innovations in 2018. “This also allows Toby to focus his efforts on product innovation and development, amongst other things, as he did in building Fresh Innovations into the success that it is today.”

Fresh Innovation supplies schools, foodservice operators and retailers with fresh-cut fruit, with an emphasis on sliced apples.

“I look forward to working with Tim to capitalize on our recent major new customer acquisitions in the retail segment and in developing successful new product offerings across all segments of our business,” Cohen said in the release.
