The California Department of Food and Agriculture said it expanded its huanglongbing, or citrus greening, quarantine boundary in Santa Paula part of Ventura County.
Huanglongbing, also known as HLB, is a devastating disease to citrus fruit, spread by the invasive Asian citrus psyllid.
CDFA said a map of the expanded boundary can be found on its website.
The department also expanded its Asian citrus psyllid bulk citrus regional quarantine zone in Santa Paula in Ventura County, reflecting the HLB quarantine boundary expansion.
This new boundary restricts the movement of citrus plants and materials from movement outside of the quarantine, according to CFDA.
In early August, the CDFA expanded the HLB boundary in the Newport Beach area of Orange County.
