Braga Fresh, the Soledad, Calif.-based home of Josie’s Organics, is introducing two organic, vegan chopped salad kits to its family of products in time for National Salad Month.

The Aloha BBQ kit has the familiar flavors of a Hawaiian barbecue with tangy sweet pineapple bits and vegan coconut bacon.

“Our innovation team developed this first-of-its-kind salad kit ingredient as a vegan alternative to a bacon option that was trending on TikTok,” Kori Tuggle, vice president marketing and product development, said in a news release.

The Avocado Goddess chopped salad kit contains fresh herb notes with a creamy avocado dressing, crunchy flatbread strips and a zingy goddess seasoning packet.

Both chopped salad kits are certified organic and contain clean salad dressing and component ingredients, the release said.

“Our two new salads meet multiple healthy lifestyles: organic, vegan and gluten free, with trending flavors,” Tuggle said. “The organic dressing and toppers satisfy shoppers looking for flavor without additives.”
