Amado, Ariz.-based Wholesum is introducing a product called Dolci Belles, said Joanna Jaramillo, marketing manager.

The organic Italian sweet peppers “will bring an elevated experience to the consumer and provide a great upgrade option from the traditional blocky pepper,” Jaramillo said. The peppers are available in time for spring, "which is perfect because these peppers are great for grilling," she added.

Wholesum also continues to offer its year-round line of staple organic items including:

  • Tomatoes on the vine; beefsteak; roma; grape; high-flavor snacking; and cocktail tomatoes.
  • Slicer, long English, and mini cucumbers.
  • Yellow and zucchini squash.
  • Green, yellow, red and orange bell peppers.
  • Globe eggplant.

Wholesum is a third-generation family farming operation that grows and ships 100% organic, Fair Trade Certified fresh produce, Jaramillo said.
