Eco Pack rolls out produce containers

Israeli packaging company Eco Pack System is rolling out new produce containers for the U.S. market.

The low-weight Eco Pack container allows retailers to customize displays with point-of-purchase branding, according to a news release.

They come in multiple sizes, with three base dimensions at varying heights, but customers can request other sizes.

“The Eco Pack box is efficient, clean and has multiple uses and is recyclable,” CEO Danny Bartal said in the release. “It’s perfect for fresh produce retailers, grower-shippers, exporters and other distributors and suppliers.”

The containers are made with plastic frames and lightweight plastic sleeves. They are suitable for palletizing.

“We believe it provides a financially preferable alternative to the paperboard boxes and plastic crates now prevalent in the industry,” Bartal said in the release.
