Avocados From Peru will launch its new e-cookbook “Avocados in Bloom” in late May.

Filled with food photos and 55 recipes, the cookbook will be released as a free e-book through supermarkets and via new and traditional media, according to a news release.

The cookbook release kicks off the June-September peak season for Peruvian avocados, according to a news release from Avocados from Peru.

The book is the creation of Peruvian Avocado Commission brand ambassador Colette Dike, who is called the architect, artistic and culinary force behind @fooddeco of the Netherlands and Xavier Equihua, president of the Peruvian Avocado Commission.

“From morning smoothies to midnight snacks, from chic dinner party fare to witty kid food, every appetizer, main, dessert and drink has a high ‘wow’ factor,” according to the release. “Dike’s accessible recipes and clever decorating techniques mean that even novice cooks, including children, can impress their family and friends.”

The book is Equihua’s second digital recipe collection for Avocados from Peru, according to the release. The “Cooking With Avocados From Peru” has been downloaded more than 1.2 million times worldwide, and is available in seven languages, with a Russian version available next month.
