Bee Sweet California mandarins are here for the holidays

Easy-peel mandarins have risen in popularity for consumers looking for a healthy snack, and the Bee Sweet Citrus sales team is celebrating the beginning of the domestic season with its most popular varieties.

Clementine mandarins will be available the first week of November, according to a news release.

“Mandarins check-off all the qualities that consumers look for in citrus,” Joe Berberian, Bee Sweet Citrus sales representative, said in the release. “Their unique flavor combined with their versatile characteristics make them a great fit for anyone looking to incorporate healthy snacks into their diet.”

The W. Murcott mandarin variety will also be available, according to the release.

“Clememtines will be available to kick off the start of the holiday season, and Murcotts will be able to close it,” Berberian said. “Both varieties are known for their easy-peel characteristics and their sharp, rich flavor.”

Clementines are expected to be available beginning in November and continuing through mid-December, and Murcott mandarins are expected mid-January through May, according to the release.
